Here's a game sample of Fuzzical Fighter. I chose stage 2 because it has more going on than the first stage. Each stage has a totally different theme. So this desert area is just a small taste of what you'll see.

Well I guess it's not exactly 100% stage 2 since after beating a boss you are automatically taken to the hub town to the next stage.

As you can see, while the hub towns and castles use the same tile sets, each layout is unique. The hub town sprites are a little lackluster and the character portraits are a little weird. The lady at the Inn looks like something out of Crayon Shin-chan. But I think the towns are pretty colorful and have that oldschool RPG feel. Well, this is 1991 so it was still oldschool. XD

The stages look good too.

The game isn't too hard. The later stages are more challenging. But it's still easy enough for a child. Good for me because I tend to not be so good at these games. ^^;;
