Though it sold relatively well the publisher, Strategy First, filed for Bankruptcy and much money owed to Stardock was lost
This prompted the company to move into publishing themselves and they would later publish the mega hit Sins of a Solar Empire
Fun Fact: Stardock became embroiled in a rights dispute with the creators of the amazing Star Control series but the case was soon settled with one of the clauses of the deal being that the Star Dock CEO, Brad Wardell, must supply honey to Paul Reiche and that he in turn must supply mead to Wardell
