This is my tutorial on how to flash firmware onto the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2 or the Galaxy Note / Note 2 from the PC.

I have tested it with these 5 phones (International versions - GT-I9500, GT-I9300, GT-I9100 and GT-N7000 respectively and also the LTE variant of the Galaxy S4 GT-I9505) but it works with the other variants like I9220, I727, I717... as well.Just watch the video and you will understand.

This will work with both ROOTED and UNROOTED devices

NOTE: Download Mode with International Variants that do not have the physical home button = VOL UP + POWER

Reasons to flash firmware via pc

1. To Unroot
2. If you are experiencing some issues and to check (Say bluetooth doesnt work right, you flash stock firmware this way and if the issue clears the issue was s/w related else h/w)
3. If you want to get a different regions release (Say a new update like jellybean has been released for germany and you are in India and you want to try out the update)


This method is totally safe and is the way samsung engineers flash phones...
The tool used here is Samsung's own service tool so its a 100% SAFE!
