Here is a game that released in 1992 for the Game Boy, this is Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, this game is the sequel to Super Mario Land, but for some reason, they went with this game and not included the first Super Mario Land game. This game was not developed by Masahiro Sakurai, it was developed by Gunepi Yokoi, who once worked for Nintendo, and following the failure of the Virtual Boy, Gunepi Yokoi left Nintendo, and he died in 1997.
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins was the game where Wario made his debut, and this game takes place in Mario Land, which was taken over by Wario, and to get the castle back, Mario must travel to six different zones and collect the 6 Golden Coins to stop Wario and take back Mario Land.
There are six different zones, I do the Tree Zone in this video, and I don't really have plans to continue Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, but I might play this game in my own time. This game has some power-ups, like the Fire Flower, the Carrot, which transforms Mario into Bunny Mario, allowing him to hover for a short time.
The Tree Zone has various courses which take part in various parts, the first course has the tree roots, the second course takes place inside the tree, the next two courses are the beehive and a platforming course with a bunch of leaves, and there is the boss fight with the Big Bird at the top of the tree, and defeating the boss awards one of the Golden Coins needed if we want to take back the castle.
