I used: Floatzel, Gogoat, and Orthworm
My Opponent used: Delibird, Hydreigon, and Iron Moth
Stadium: Pokémon League
Battle BGM: Arven

I did see that my opponent had some Pokémon that were either underused or almost never used at all in online battles. While I did see that my opponent had some Pokémon that have placed in the top 10 throughout online battles in the generations, like Mimikyu and Tyranitar, I did see my opponent had a Delibird, which was used in this battle. Delibird is known for having really bad stats, but I did like the strategy my opponent used with it, which was set up Tailwind to allow the more powerful threats enter the battle, Delibird does get moves like Spikes, Rapid Spin, and Destiny Bond, while those are some good advantages, there are many other Pokémon that can make better use of those moves than Delibird.
I test out another team for this one, and half of them has Pokémon from previous generations, as well as some new Pokémon. Floatzel is a Pokémon that I did use in my Pokémon Battle Revolution online battles, and this was back when I wasn't that familiar with competitive battling, the moves I had on Floatzel back then were Waterfall, Ice Fang, Crunch, and Surf, which I then swapped for Aqua Jet as there wasn't any reason to have both Surf and Waterfall on it, and I didn't really know about EV training back then. This Floatzel's moves are identical to the one I had back in Pokémon Battle Revolution, the difference is he has Wave Crash, which is a Water-type Double-Edge, and this is not a new move in this generation, Wave Crash was introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but at least this is the first time the move is in a main series game, I don't count Pokémon Legends: Arceus as a main series game, even if it did introduce new Pokémon and moves. Ice Spinner is there for an Ice-type move on Floatzel, and he is one of the few Pokémon that can outspeed Hydreigon, which my opponent made an interesting strategy with. I went with Choice Band on Floatzel, I wanted to go with Mystic Water at first, but decided on Choice Band, even if it does lock Floatzel into using one move unless I switch him out.
For my other two Pokémon, Orthworm is normally used as a lead as he has Stealth Rock, but because I saw Pokémon like Wash Rotom and Iron Moth, and both threaten Orthworm's lower Special Defense stat, but then again I wasn't sure if my opponent was going to use Delibird. I have Iron Defense and Body Press, which pairs well with Orthworm's high Defense stat, while Iron Head serves as a good Steel-type move.
Next is Gogoat, and you might be wondering why I am using one, there is a reason, Gogoat has a very infamous reputation, particularly in this game, and this is because there is a Trainer that you battle that uses a Gogoat, not going to spoil who that character is in case anyone watching this video has not played the game, but the Gogoat is the reason why the fanbase refers to that Trainer's team as the weakest team ever, but then again don't know why I try to avoid spoiling a certain character when my opponent has Iron Moth, a Pokémon that you never encounter until the very end of the game.
The reason why I am using Gogoat is to prove that he is more than useless, and that he should never be underestimated in battle. I went with a Water Tera Type on Gogoat, which pairs well with Sap Sipper, giving him a weakness only to Electric, and I gave him Tera Blast to take on opposing Fire-type Pokémon, Play Rough to handle Dragon-type Pokémon, and I have the Assault Vest on Gogoat, it was originally going to be the Rocky Helmet, but I decided to give it to Orthworm. I wasn't sure about Shed Tail on Orthworm, because that Pokémon does not get Regenerator, and stats don't get passed on with Shed Tail, it's only the Substitute that is passed on to another Pokémon. I chose Gogoat for this battle in case my opponent picked Rotom, as Gogoat is able to resist Rotom's moves, and his Water Tera Type is there to catch Iron Moth off guard.
