Game Music - Parallel Composing / Branching Showcase (Castle / Dungeon Theme A)
Game Music: "Parallel Composing" is one of my most used Dynamic Music techniques. In this vid I showcase the different Versions of the Track i'm composing atm for the An TBA Classic RPG (Castle/Dungeon Theme A) - Each Version runs parallel at the same time. By composing/producing them "parallel" in one project you can make sure that the engine can switch between versions at any given time of the track, w/o the need of waiting for specific moments, based on the Triggers you set in-engine. The way i crossfade the versions in this video isn't sth you would do in the game though, i made this to showcase the smooth transitions only. In general you'd do such things to smoothly change from a peaceful to a "dangerous" setting, for example. Oh and btw - i'm recording an additional accordion in this vid, that appears in every version and kind of "glues them together".
