
Game Streaming - The Elephant in the Room
Everybody is talking about latency and who will deliver the best experience with their game streaming services but nobody is talking about what happens when licenses to games expire. We can already see how thorny licensing can be in the gaming industry just by looking at Backwards Compatibility, and the games that have failed to appear. But this could be much worse once streaming becomes the norm. Could we be heading towards a future where old games disappear without trace?
