I hope you are all happy, safe & healthy whatever challenges you are facing right now.

Bit of a change from gameplay footage and apologies for the delay in uploads - I've been away for a week or so on a course so these videos are quick uploads before I revert to capturing gameplay footage from less common console games and old phones :-)

Back in the mid to late 90's EDGE magazine in the UK would occasionally covermount a CD with previews of upcoming games. I used to watch these previews over and over - it really was an exciting time in gaming & with only very slow dial up that tied up the home phone line these video clips were way better than screenshots in the magazine or waiting for hours to download a massive 20Mb file :-)

While having a sort out I found the CD's in my loft (it is one of 4 that EDGE gave away covering the games etc of that period) and was originally a Quicktime Movie at 12 fps so I've converted and uploaded. This is from the 2nd CD they cover mounted.

This is a video advert for the Game.Com from Tiger Electronics. It was originally an RPL format file so I've converted and upscaled as best I could. I actually have one of these systems from back in the day when they were clearing them out at heavy discounts and most the games - I can make some videos if there is interest (assuming it still works as I've had it in my loft for over 2 decades :-)

Let me know if you'd like to see more of these. I can probably compile into a longer video if that is easier?

All copyrights belong to their respective owners - Tiger Electronics, Game.Com, EDGE, Future Publishing etc and I'll gladly remove if 40 seconds of 25 year old compressed video is an issue although you never know - the campaign might finally go viral and we could see a Game.Com mini :-)

As always if you enjoy this video let me know. Also let me know if there are particular games or systems you'd like to see.

As always this is uploaded under the Fair Use Policy - no money is being made from this video.

Stay strong, stay safe and stay healthy - Grey Fox
