I'm someone that used to buy physical media all the time and I miss it a lot. I remember going to midnight releases for games and having a ton of fun doing that. The unfortunate thing though is that even though digital media is very convenient there is no doubt that it has had a huge impact on physical media and stores that carry these things. GameStop is a store that is definitely currently facing this issue because some game consoles don't even come with a disk drive. Will digital media completely destroy physical media? Will there always be a demand for physical media?
