Review of Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony running in Linux Ubuntu 12.04.
Jamestown is an indie Spaceshooter game with a 16bit retro look, it was developed by small indie developer Final Form Games. You can play single player or multiplayer with up to four players on the same screen.
Honestly this game really favours multiplayer over single player, as there are far too many enemies for one person to kill

The game cross platform and is available for Linux, Mac, and Windows.
Ubuntu users can purchase the game directly from Ubuntu Software Centre for $9.99.
It recently featured on Humble Bundle - Indie Bundle 6.

For this video I play through the first level of Jamestown and defeat the boss at the end of the level.
