The Alex is a suit with a number of traits that can make it usable if you play into them such as the combination of high base movement speed, it's small body and a shield making it somewhat hard to hit depending on what s attacking it as well as being able to avoid a lot of damage from certain configurations of funnel attacks, that said you can't inflict a lot of damage quickly putting you at a noticeable disadvantage in any damage race.

Other notes: Alex Beam Rifle is only Lv3 so slight damage loss on that.
