GSBD: The Final Light ( Gunbarrel Dagger, No Respawn, SS Rank)
The Final Mission of the Earth Alliance Story and the easiest of the 7'1' Final Story missions to S rank.
Start by clearing out the back two Astray letting the front one tank aggro of the GuAIZ for the second it is alive before turning and clearing out said GuAIZ, don't be afriad to burn meter or even use Hyper mode as there are a lot of enemies around to restore it, when the enemy ace units spawn in let them fight each other for the time being while you clear out the grunt suits though Keep and Eye on the mini-map as the Duel does like to approach the defence objective and as soon as it does position yourself to push it away from the rest of the fighting before unleashing Hyper Mode and your parter's SP attack and then burn it down quickly as you will need to clear the area around your ship once again afterwards.
Once your ship is safe ignore the fight between the Strike and Providence as you need to deal with the Buster and then the Red ship before moving on the clear out the Archangel while the Providence is distracted, once it's just the Strike and Providence you can use long ranged attacks to chip at the Providence being carful not to draw aggro and let it beat the Strike before going Hyper mode to crush the Providence before it can do anything as it is very capable of taking you out if you give it the chance.
When in the actual fortress make sure not to rush, the time limit is generous and the enemy can inflcit a lot of damage quite quickly if they catch you out so use the walls to block line of sight and abuse Hyper mode if you have to as your ai partner is more than likely to get stuck on a wall somewhere in here.
For the final room make sure you have enough meter for Hyper mode and stay around the outer edges of the room to avoid triggering the Justice and Rouge
Spawns, once the room is cleared start the final battle and focus on the Justice while the Rouge hits the middle core as he is the more dangerous of the enemies pulling him away from the room if needed then take him out with whatever you have, if your partner has a SP such as Super Shot they can fire it through the closed doors if they get stuck on the other side of one.
Once you have dealt with the justice you can use the GENISIS core's health to bided time if it still has over 50% hp to get a little bit of meter back before going to take out the Rouge trying to hit it away from the Core if you can to avoid taking it out first by mistake.
afterwards you can just take out the core, I didn't as I wasn't sure if another section was coming afterwards and waited for my meter to fill.
With that the no tuning Dagger Line only run of the Earth Alliance '71' missions are completed, the Dagger line has such a huge number of quite good machines making the run not too different from a normal run though the same is certainly not true for the next run though the '71' era missions.
