GSBD: Offensive Momentum (GINN, No Damage, SS Rank)
The third mission in the Z.A.F.T '71' story and once again another rather easy mission but a good one to get used to effective use of your weapons and the importance of not wasting shots as it is possible to run out of Bazooka shots if you fire them like a idiot.
To start with you will be faced with a pair of Strike Dagger's which can be cleanly taken out with the Bazooka in a couple of hits ( or one if either of your allies decided to shoot it.) after which a pair will spawn a fair bit away from you letting you get used to approaching in space and can be taken out as easily as the first pair just be mindful of how moving effects your shots and the slow speed of the bazooka, after which a set of three strike Daggers will spawn in but again are easily handled.
the next wave can take and inflict a fair bit more damage as a set of four Duel Daggers spawn in though they fight the same as the Strike Daggers making them easy to handle if you let your allies draw aggro so you can cleanly cut take out each one in succession ( or miss all your shots on them) , after that a 105 (Sword) will arrive alongside two Strike Daggers so clean up the Strike while staying away from the Sword before finishing it off which will cause Two Long Dagger FS and Two Duel Daggers to arrive just move to the side and let the Duel Daggers aggro on your allies while you deal with the slow FS's with Bazooka Shots before cleaning up the other two.
Finally two groups of two enemies will arrive on the flanks with each set having a 105 Launcher and a FS with them, if you haven't broken it you can use the ammo create as a orientation point special boosting to it both to restock your ammo and to allow you to get out of the pincer attack letting you handle each group more safely.
This mission is incredible as gives you the opportunity to use the options the game has for combat without punishing the player if they choose not to or forcing a tutorial, it's decently easy, shows that ai allies can be helpful, is just long enough to punish bad use of ammo or carless firing without being too frustrating and shows off how the enemy can spawn in really feeling as if the Z.A.F.T path is the one they expected people to go down first.
