Building a survival-city builder about society at its limits is full of complex problems, and one of the most notorious was building the AI system. This talk will showcase the building blocks of AI in Frosptunk, why they were chosen and lessons learned that can be applied to any project with multi-agent, simulated environment.

Maciej is a game programmer, currently leading one of the teams at 11 bit studios. His main areas of interest are gameplay programming and development workflow improvements. Besides Frostpunk he worked on games like The Witcher, Neuroshima Apocalypse or Spacecom.
