GENETOS a shmup made by Tatsuya Koyama and GENETOS is what I'd like to call an Evolution 'em up, basically you start in space invaders and end up in bullet hell through STG evolution in 5 stages. Your ship's shottypes and abilities also evolve based on how you play!

I kind of went for getting swords as weapon and slowdown as an ability, for swords you basically want to be as high as possible as much as possible and for slowdown you basically die a lot. It's pretty convenient together since slowdown allows you to do combos, there're better scoring evolutions though and this was pretty much just a run for fun.

Creator Mode is basically the highest difficulty in the game, the game gives quite a lot of resources and it's pretty easy to lose all of them if you don't concentrate on what you're doing, regardless of that it's definitely a fun difficulty to play.

I want to thank Pazzy for uploading this, as I can't really upload anymore due to a rather strict internetlimit (basically we got bad internet over here.) another thing to note is that my own replays don't work with my game for somereason, they did work for Pazzy though.

This shmup definitely deserves more attention, also take a look at the other games Tatsuya Koyama has made!
