Geometry Dash - Catastrophic by Lalter (Insane Demon)
3Went into this expecting it to be pretty bad as almost all insane demon nine circles levels are, but I actually think this might be one of the best ones. Don't get me wrong, it's not amazing as there's definitely a lot of unfairness sort of baked into old-school NC wave design like this, but the difficulty in this felt as up-front and natural as you can get with this style of gameplay. The predrop is engaging without being annoying and the drop wave feels quite balanced in difficulty (There isn't really any super crazy chokepoints except for maybe the gap at 42 but that still got consistent relatively fast) Definitely a breath of fresh air when it comes to recent insane demon completions.
The ending cube is also a cool ending IMO. The first click being somewhat blind kinda sucks but if you do it correctly you get a decent amount of time to react. It's not incredibly hard but not free either which makes a wave pass feel pretty stressful.
I would recommend this over pretty much any other insane demon NC (up there with the better ones like Sharp Minor, The Secret Box, and Crimson Clutter)
