Geometry Dash - ice cream by Cyclic (Insane Demon)
4technically not one of the oldest insane demons as it got deleted but it might as well be as it got rerated and is clearly from the same era.
this level is made to be bad but honestly most of it is pretty tame. i found the 20% ship annoying and when i was attempting this on 240 died a million times to 14% but none of that is especially difficult.
however.
the blind blue orb click at 71% is one of the most deviously challenging clicks ive had to deal with in any level. i believe 2.1 changed the orb hitbox priority so the blue orb is masked by several other orbs making hitting it extremely hard, with only a handful of frames to do so. on top of this the click is essentially blind as you are flying up to hit it. i ended up just trying to react to the first orb appearing which was very inconsistent but really my only method to do it. might be a reaction speed issue for me or something but i got to 71% upwards of 50 times but only ended up passing it about 4 times.
after that there's some more garbage like the 81% fall onto the yellow pad for which there are methods to make it consistent but it is nevertheless nervewracking and easy to accidentally screw up.
finally 91% is a just dumb timing as im pretty sure its 2 frames or a frame perfect on 60. it doesn't help that the saws are placed in such an unorthodox way that it makes timing it by feel pretty difficult. i died here once and it sucked.
would not recommend obviously. i found this to be much harder than the general consensus (easier end insane) and would place it medium to higher end myself just because of 71% alone
