I truly don't think George Lucas gets enough credit for the heart and soul that he put behind his work in the Star Wars Saga. Sure, there are many problems -- specifically dialogue at times -- with the Star Wars movies, yet there is just something about the story that has been told by these movies. Even about the human condition -- which George clearly understood. Here's a video of him giving a speech about where to find true happiness.
