Getting 100k in Aim Lab Gridshot
3I've only started getting interested in Gridshot in 2020. In that time, I only played Gridshot occasionally, and to the side while I queue for Valorant/CSGO games. I rarely clip anything in Gridshot, even if I gain a high score.
As the months go by, my performance in Gridshot improved. I made a routine in Aim Lab by doing Gridshot first, then Switchtrack, 3 random tasks where I think I need improvement like Spidershot, Microshot or Wallpeaking, then another Gridshot. I do this almost daily until I lost interest in Aim Lab.
2021, and I start to go back to Aim Lab, but only play Gridshot, since I casually play osu at times. Now, prior to this point, I've been getting around 80k - 90k score consistently. So I decided to start a goal - to reach 100k score.
From April, I started to get 90k consistently. My speed and accuracy improved. And to be honest, at this time, I wasn't using my own Valorant sensitivity - I only increased it for the sake of reaching 100k.
I got a few personal best beats, but there were all close to 100k. 985,500 was my closest personal best to 100k, and I never reached past that for 3 months.
That is until, on 14th July, 7:30pm, I decided to focus on getting 100k by the end of the day. I got nothing to do anyway. That's a goal in my mind. Motivation.
Then I achieved a score past 100k.
