Getting Emotional From Smash Bros
Getting Emotional From Smash Bros
So I was rummaging through some old video files and found this old reaction I made a year ago on the September 4th 2019 Nintendo Direct. I honestly have no idea why this wasn't uploaded a year ago. I forgot this recording ever existed....Actually I'm not even sure if I knew this recording even existed. Totally got erased from my mind. If I had to guess then maybe it was either I thought I looked too cringy on video (I wasn't really used to seeing my face on YouTube unscripted) or I just didn't know where the clip went on my computer and it was just lost into oblivion for the past year. This direct goes over the 38 min Nintendo Direct but the main thing was the Super Smash Bros announcements. It was a whole 38 mins yet I wouldn't stop shutting up about smash bros all throughout. I can tell I was dead tired throughout most of the direct so I decided to cut out the majority of the video since I wasn't providing commentary for most of it. I went over a few things in the start like Overwatch and Luigi's Mansion but the highlight of this video is certainly the Smash Reaction. The announcement of Terry and The Fighters Pass 2. This was such a huge deal to me. The Terry reveal was cool but there were a bunch of leaks talking about Terry being chosen as the next fighter so it wasn't THAT crazy like our recent Mr.Steve from Minecraft announcement. On the other hand though the biggest news was the revelation of a Fighters Pass 2. It was such a wonderful feeling hearing that. Here I was worried about who the last character would be, but being happy regardless whoever they pick. Smash 4 already blew my mind with picks like Ryu and Cloud being added. Characters you would only dream of to ever be in this game. So I was 100% content. For the Switch I just wanted a port nothing more, yet we were given so much more than we ever deserved. New additions like K Rool and Ridley kept blowing my mind...then we got JOKER in the Fighter's Pass #1 which was unfathomable to me....but to know that we were going to get more....even more characters when I thought we already hit the ceiling and started breaking through that ceiling...only to find out that the smash hype train just exploded through that ceiling to reach the heavens. This was an amazing direct and amazing feeling to have. I can't believe I forgot how emotional I got from this announcement. It's just a game and I don't know why I'm writing so much but it was truly an amazing feeling. Just pure happiness and excitement that it looks like I'm on the verge of tearing up. It was surreal and I'm glad I captured that moment. It's nice looking back on that. So I decided to upload it today to show all of you, maybe you guys can have a little laugh watching it. One of the very few decent reactions I ever had filmed to be honest haha. Well anyways I hope you guys will enjoy this recording breaking late video. If you guys want more reactions lemme know...till then...Hope you all have a nice day and a damn good one! :)

Super Smash Bros. is a series of crossover fighting video games published by Nintendo, and primarily features characters from various Nintendo franchises. The series was created by Masahiro Sakurai, who has directed every game in the series. The gameplay objective differs from that of traditional fighters in that the aim is to knock opponents off the stage instead of depleting life bars.
The original Super Smash Bros. was released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64. The series achieved even greater success with the release of Super Smash Bros. Melee, which was released in 2001 for the GameCube and became the bestselling game on that system. A third installment, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, was released in 2008 for the Wii. Although HAL Laboratory had been the developer of the first two games, the third game was developed through the collaboration of several companies. The fourth installment, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, was released in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, respectively. The 3DS installment was the first for a handheld platform. A fifth installment, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, was released in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
