Background:
I set out to visit the Forbidden Reach, that my friend Voxygen told me did constant damage to him when he visited it!
Thankfully, as a Paladin I am able to outsustain it... It only does about 55k damage per 3 second, and thats even blockable thanks to Holy Shield!
The island itself is cozy with the raging storm around it... But there are no NPCs to be found, and the layout is similar to the starting experience! Which means many caves
An interesting thing is that you are sheltered from the storm while inside certain buildings or caves, atleast those that are unique sub-zones (Hoard of Shimmermaw etc)
My map will not discover any location on this island, it stays unexplored... which is quite weird
There is also a mailbox in the village on the western side of the island... a WORKING mailbox!!!
The toxic chamber to the northwest, that you visited during questing is still active... You get a bar that gets filled and surprisingly, the teleport doesn't happen... It seemed buggy
The noise that comes out of it, is also quite creepy, sounds like a Dracthyr (which makes sense, since its probably a sound effect that is played in there)
This buggy teleport interaction came back to haunt me after visiting the Dracthyr starting cave...
I died in the lava and was just about to finish the exploration... but then I suddenly couldn't move!
I was stuck in a permanent stunned state, where no abilities or movement worked...
I wasn't even able to teleport to the graveyard!
I tested to log out and in, and it appeared to work... But the moment I ressed my character, I got stuck again...
I then tested to join an arena, since it usually saves your character... But not this time...
I ended up just being able to stand there as my teammate got slaughtered...
The final thing I tested, which saved me, was to enter an arena and then log out and back in, this made me respawn while alive, and able to move!
I was afraid that if I used hearthstone and died later on in the play session I would have the bug still active (as if it was stuck to my character) but thankfully it seems to be gone... for now
I am most certain that this bug happened after visiting the toxic chamber and not being sent away after filling up the meter, quite interesting my character only got stuck after dying however...
