Generations come and go like the tide, and with the fall of one comes the rise of another. One constant test of a new generations possibilities comes from those early games that bookend the last generation, whilst releasing on the up and coming one.

As I return to my Retro Bytes articles and thanks to BC I take a look at just how ahead of the curve Ubisoft were with Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. One game across all generations of Xbox hardware tells a great deal and the results may surprise you.
