After a couple of months of speculation, back-to-back NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has signed his supermax contract with the Milwaukee Bucks and will continue to play for the Bucks for the next five seasons. The speculation the entire NBA offseason surrounded whether or not the reigning NBA MVP would sign his extension or enter NBA free agency after the 2020-21 NBA season.
Tuesday nights slate of NBA games starts off with the first NBA preseason game for the new-look Philadelphia 76ers and their new head coach Doc Rivers. It is also the first game for newcomers Danny Green and Seth Curry and we got to see how Sixers stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons mesh with their new coach heading into the 2020-21 NBA Season.
The second NBA Preseason game on Tuesday night was one of the most anticipated NBA preseason games in a long time as the Rockets face the Spurs. Disgruntled star James Harden played for the first time during this NBA preseason amidst his trade request out of Houston.
Finally, the night in the NBA finished off with the Golden State Warriors against the Sacramento Kings as we get to continue to see how the Warriors new pieces Kelly Oubre and Andrew Wiggins fit around perennial NBA All-Star and future NBA Hall of Famer Steph Curry heading into the 2020-21 NBA season.
