Gigabyte & Maxsun 1050 3GB Variants Spotted | Steam Link App May Come to iOS After All & More
67Today, we have an update on the whole Steam Link app iOS situation, as Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Phil Schiller sent out an email which has been leaked on Reddit. It clarifies... a bit.. .why it was not allowed on the iPhone store to begin with, and how Apple and Valve are working to get the app in the store.
We also have two third party GTX 1050 3GB variants, showing some improvements vs the vanilla Nvidia GPU in one of them. We have offerings from both Gigabyte and Maxsun, with some clock speed improvents and in an built overclock from Gigabyte.
Speaking of graphics cards, we also have a notebook from Acer that features the RX Vega 56. Sadly, we know very little about the graphics cards actual specifications, but we can infer some from its TDP and competitor in the mobile GPU space.
Finally, Facebook and Google have had legal complaints raised against them for alleged breach of the GDPR data protection violations. Given the reach of these two companies, a breach will be expensive and have some interesting ramifications...
