The ESA have reinstated their ruling that loot boxes are NOT gambling under the current USA gambling laws, which is a fairly controversial opinion especially compared to the loot crate rulings from the Dutch and Belgium gambling authorities.

We also have a statement from Valve, saying that despite their efforts, Apple have refused for ther Steam Link app to be available on the iOS store.... for reasons that aren't terribly clear.

We also have a report from SuperData research for the month of April, showing insane sanes for juggernauts Fornite and God of War, representing the PC gaming sphere and console gaming sphere respectively. Overall, though, the digital games area of the industry showed some nice growth.
