Michelangelo Santini was one thing and one thing only, a Gladiator, he was sent to fight in pits for drinking money by his parents as but a young child, first against animals, then as he grew older a more dangerous game, man. Prized in the ring he was one of the first the knights conscripted when they became desperate, his years of spilling blood for sport now turned to war, and from the warriors he stood side by side with he felt small, and yet he made up that insecurity with showmanship on the field of battle, a childlike humour amidst the slaughter but it wasn't long until he found himself in not a battle but a massacre, he was stunned, taken aback by the destruction of the building he was once in, he and a few others being outnumbered and surrounded, he was a gladiator and me would fight them all until he lay dead and his comrades felt this off him and stood more confidently by his side as they charged into battle, they were part of a war party sent to eradicate a "high lander" whatever that was meant to be, but they were caught at the outpost by some invasion force.
