In many of my class guide videos I will mention GCDs and off GCDs. Lets talk about what that means and why it is important.

When you use you skill you are probably used to seeing all of your skills go on cooldown where you can't use them. This is what we call the Global Cooldown. Your Global Cooldown Skills are skills that trigger this effect. The Global Cooldown time by default is 2.5 seconds.

On the Flip side there are skills that are known as Off Global Cooldowns. These skills do not trigger the Global Cooldown effect and are not blocked by the Global Cooldown effect allowing you to use more skills in a quick session.
