DESCRIPTION:
Gah! is a mix of hack'n'slash and roguelite. Choose a character, go on an adventure and fight monsters. Progress, upgrade your character, find items, and then... die. But don't worry - no death will be in vain; use the resources you gain to upgrade your village and unlock new characters.
STORY:
The game focuses on short adventures (about an hour each) grouped into thematic chapters. Each adventure offers a unique experience (even with repeated playthroughs), thanks to procedurally generated levels and randomness in character development.
FEATURES:
At the beginning of the game, you will have access to 3 basic characters: the King, the Sorcerer, and the Vagabond. However, as you progress through the game, new characters will be unlocked.
In each chapter, you will be able to unlock 2 more playable characters.
You start in a dungeon, but soon you will find that objects from other worlds are beginning to infiltrate your realm.
As you progress, you will encounter enemies wielding unfamiliar weapons. Unlock playable characters who can wield these weapons themselves.
After each level, you will have the option to choose one of two paths with different secondary objectives. Successfully completing them will reward you with additional loot.
Active Skills
Each character has 4 unique abilities.
Additionally, each ability (basic, special, and auto attack) has 4 potential upgrades (with 2 tiers), and you can choose 2 upgrades for each ability. Here is an example of the King's ability:
After leveling up, you will choose 1 upgrade from a set of random options. You do not have to juggle skills, you choose the set and upgrade it yourself.
Passive Skills
In addition, there are 3 passive skill trees that you can unlock by collecting orbs from defeated enemies. Each tree contains 4 skill tiers, totaling 8-10 skills per tree.
The main game mode of Gah! is "Adventure", in which you will play through the campaign, unlock new NPCs, upgrades, playable characters, and much more.
