Continuing my practice run on normal for my upcoming hard mode run. Using some techniques TheRipper999 explained to me, that he used in his completion of hard mode. Reccomend checking that shit out on his channel.

Up dodging (hitting up on right analog) seems ESSENTIAL for hard mode, according to Ripper. I am still in the habit of rolling (Back on analog stick), so I will have to learn how to up dodge and use that to fight multiple opponents at once. On hard mode I had to lure enemies out 1 at a time using the taunt. Extremely tedious, and I got up to the dual gays in the first level, however this technique would not work later in the game with forced fights with mobs of hard enemies. I have to learn how to deal with multiple enemies at once for hard mode. Its a BRUTAL increase in difficulty over normal, and normal is already way harder than most games. Also not learning proper crowd control did not work well against the gays, which TheRipper says is the hardest part in the game on hard. I never beat them back in 2008 on my hard run. Its early in the game and you have much less techniques and shit at your disposal.

So far what Ive learned from Ripper and playing. Get used to using up dodge to manage multiple enemies. Practice it in the beginning of level 1 on normal to get used to it. I still have not practiced it unfortunately, but I will be forced to learn one way or another on hard. Better to practice on normal but Im fuckin stubborn.

Next tip is to get chain yanker and yes maam kablaam. You can look up how to get those easily, they are extremely important, especially on hard mode. Yes Maam Kablaam is in the first main boss fight, Elvis, the treasure chest in the room. If you get it and then die you will keep it when you do eventually beat him.

Youll also want to save the citizen in stage 1 to get the Dragon Kick move, I think its called. Its a roulette move. Youll want that for the gays.

Once you have Yes Maam Kablaam and Chain Yanker you can pull alot of bullshit on bosses. YMK will fill your God Hand meter so you can unleash your god hand mode more often. The chain yanker will bring the enemy to you, then you just use YMK, Up dodge to cancel the taunt animation afterwards, Use it again, Up dodge cancel again and then hit circle to take advantage of the stunned damage move (Spanking, Suplex, etc). Rinse and repeat as much as possible.
