God of War Ragnarok Myrkr Tunnels Collectible Locations
Myrkr Tunnels contains 3 Collectible Locations in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Myrkr Tunnels Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.
Nornir Chests: 1
Legendary Chests: 1
Yggdrasil Rifts: 1
It’s recommended to collect everything after the story. Most regions can’t be completed on the first visit because they require certain skills from story progress.
#1 – Legendary Chest (Fog of Fimbulwinter – Heavy Runic Attack) : 00:00
From the Yggdrasil Rift turn around, enter the next room, where a water puzzle took place during the story. Go through the left exit and then keep going straight ahead until you reach a dead-end with red vines. Burn the vines by shooting purple arrows at them and use your chaos blades to ignite them. Behind the vines is the legendary chest.
#2 – Nornir Chest : 00:46
From the Legendary Chest, go straight back into the room where we came from (water puzzle room). Now in this room take the left exit, you must crouch under some rocks. On the other side you find the Nornir Chest. It requires lighting 3 glyphs on fire. The first is to the left of the chest, your Chaos Blades can’t reach it so you must throw an axe at the keg next to it to spill oil, then shoot purple arrows around, and ignite the purple arrows with Chaos Blades, this causes a chain reaction that ignites the oil and the glyph. The second glyph is to the left of the first one (across from the chest). The third is in the tunnel across from the chest (where you came from), hidden behind some wooden crates that you must destroy first. After lighting them all on fire the chest can be opened.
#3 – Yggdrasil Rift : 03:08
You go to Myrkr Tunnels later in the story. To get back here after the story, fast travel to the Mystic Gateway Svartalfheim - Nidavellir Beach (automatic story unlock). From there take the little train up the hill, leading to the Forge area. After the train ride, follow the wooden ramp all the way to the end, then you can see a dark hole you can climb down to get back into the tunnels. After climbing down, turn right at the first opportunity, and immediately right again. Yggdrasil Rift will be there. If you are going through this area during the story you will be coming from the other end of the tunnel, in that case simply continue the story path until you reach the end of the tunnel and then follow the steps here.
That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Myrkr Tunnels area in God of War Ragnarok.
God of War Ragnarök is an action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was released worldwide on November 9, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, marking the first cross-gen release in the series. It is the ninth installment in the God of War series, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018's God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game is set in ancient Scandinavia and feature series protagonist Kratos (Christopher Judge) and his teenage son Atreus (Sunny Suljic). Serving as the finale to the Norse era of the series, the game covers Ragnarök, the eschatological event which is central to Norse mythology and was foretold to happen in the previous game after Kratos killed the Æsir god Baldur.
