God of War Ragnarok The Southern Wilds Collectible Locations
The Southern Wilds contains 5 Collectible Locations in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in The Southern Wilds Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.
Nornir Chests: 1
Legendary Chests: 1
Artifacts: 1
Odin’s Ravens: 1
Hel Tears: 1
When you first visit the area in the story, you are still missing the unlockable skills needed to reach some collectibles. This walkthrough is intended for use after the story.
#1 – Hel Tear (Frozen Spark) : 00:00
After coming from The Southern Wilds Mystic Gateway, the Heal Tear is on the right. Requires story progress to spawn, it’s not there on the first visit. Can come back for it after the story.
#2 – Odin’s Raven : 00:08
From the Hel Tear, follow the path to the left, it leads to a lake with a raven flying above it.
#3 – Legendary Chest (Wrath of the Frost Ancient – Light Runic Attack) : 00:44
In the area with the poisonous sacks that explode, crawl through the hole on the left to find the Legendary Chest behind a wall.
#4 – Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – Upon Pursuing a Place Not Marked On Maps) : 01:17
Same area as the Legendary Chest. You must climb up and jump to the tower in the middle. From there you can look down and smash through the floor with a blue mark on it. The artifact is below that floor.
#5 – Nornir Chest : 02:00
Keep following the linear path and you will reach the Nornir Chest, in plain sight in the middle of the main path, can’t miss it. You must turn 3 symbols by throwing the axe at them. The first is above the chest to the left. The second is to the right of the chest, must first burn the vines with your Chaos Blades ( :l2: + :r2: ). The third is across from the chest, must burn the vines hanging down the ledge, the fire will spread, then you can throw the axe to turn the symbol. When you’ve turned the symbols to the correct ones, you will see that symbol’s light go out on the Nornir Chest itself. Then the chest can be opened.
That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in The Southern Wilds area in God of War Ragnarok.
