God of War Ragnarok The Strond Collectible Locations
The Strond contains 10 Collectible Locations in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in The Strond Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.
Nornir Chests: 2
Legendary Chests: 1

Artifacts: 2
Odin’s Ravens: 1
Hel Tears: 1
Remnants of Asgard: 1
When you first visit the area in the story, you are still missing the unlockable skills needed to reach some collectibles. This walkthrough is intended for use after the story.
#1 – Lore (Rune Read – Broken History)
In front of Mystic Gateway.
#2 – Hel Tear (Frozen Spark)
To the right of the Lore, drop down the ledge to see it. Hel Tears start spawning in Main Mission 12: Reunion. You can come back for it after the story. Interact with the Hel-Tear portal and defend it until the timer at the top of the screen is finished.
#3 – Lore (Lore Marker – The Living Desert)
Go back to the Mystic Gateway/Lore. Go up the path to the left of the lore, then drop down at the end for a Lore Marker.
#4 – Nornir Chest
From the Lore Marker climb back up and squeeze through the gap in the wall. Then go straight and drop down the ledge to find the Nornir Chest. You must light 3 braziers with the Chaos Blades ( :l2: + :r2: ). The first is to the left of the Chest on the cliffs. The second is to the right of the Chest, look down the cliffs in the edge of the area. The third requires you to climb back up the path, climb up twice and then drop down on the left.
#5 – Odin’s Raven
After the Nornir Chest follow the linear path, the raven will sit on a tree on the left, after jumping over a broken bridge.
#6 – Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – Afterlife Abandonment)
After the Raven, go through a little cave tunnel section, after leaving the cave drop down the ledge straight ahead. There’s an Artifact (glowing purple) and a Legendary Chest here on the left.
#7 – Legendary Chest (Skadi’s Edge – Light Runic Attack)
Next to the Artifact.
#8 – Remnants of Asgard
From the previous collectibles, climb back up, turn to your left and climb up the wall with white markings. This leads to an enemy encounter with the Remnants of Asgard. Only spawns after finishing the main story, must backtrack for it. After defeating the Remnants also open the red reward chest on the right, it contains remnant materials and a lot of Hacksilver.
#9 – Artifact (Tributes to Freyr – Dream Charm)
After the Remnants of Asgard, follow the linear path and lift the big rock out of the way. Then turn right for a purple-glowing Artifact and a Nornir Chest.
#10 – Nornir Chest
Next to the Artifact. You must throw the Spear at 3 totems and explode them all simultaneously. The spear is an automatic story unlock. For the first two, turn around from the chest and they will be in sight. The third is to the right of the broken bridge. After planting the 3 spears press :triangle: to detonate them, this opens the chest.

It is the ninth installment in the God of War series, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018's God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game is set in ancient Scandinavia and feature series protagonist Kratos (Christopher Judge) and his teenage son Atreus (Sunny Suljic). Serving as the finale to the Norse era of the series, the game covers Ragnarök, the eschatological event which is central to Norse mythology and was foretold to happen in the previous game after Kratos killed the Æsir god Baldur.
