A follow up to my video on HeightMaps ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ede-ACKjubs ) where I accidentally said Godot supported height maps.... yeah, it doesn't.

Fortunately it's very easy to roll your own, as we are going to do in this tutorial. I take no credit for the code or contents of this tutorial, the source is entirely inspired by this link

As you can see however, creating landscapes using heightmaps in Godot is extremely easy.
