In this episode of Final Fantasy II for SNES, we climb the Tower of Bab-il some more.
Next (FFII Part 11) - https://youtu.be/vBurgiBe1Pk
Previous (FFII Part 9) - https://youtu.be/JXnkmQrqSro

After fighting Dr. Lugae at the top of the Tower of Bab-il, we find the Tower Key.

It unlocks a door to the control room, where we fight some Dark Imps. But then they turn around and activate the self destruct mechanism. So Yang (aka Mario) sacrifices himself to save the others, and... locks himself in an exploding room? I mean really, we all could have just run. Idk why he did that.

On our way out, Golbez tries to blow us up again or something. Then one of the Red Wings starts chasing the Enterprise, so Cid (aka Kansas) sacrifices himself by jumping out of the airship and detonating a bomb that covers the hole to the surface again just as we're escaping. I mean really, he could have just thrown the bomb from the airship. Idk why he did that.
