Prices for Nvidia RTX GPUs appear to be decreasing, and availability continues to increase as the months go by. This should lead to a much better GPU market soon, and by early 2022 the whole graphics card market including Nvidia's RTX 3090, 3080, 3070 as well as AMDs RX 6900 XT, 6800 XT and 6700 XT should be much easier to obtain near its original MSRP.
