Good News From Studio MAPPA About Animator Working Conditions - Director of Chainsaw Man Speaks Out
2,520In the recent months there's been a lot of talk about Animator Working Conditions in the Industry. We've seen news story after news story release... some on Netflix and MAPPA. Many animators have quit Studio MAPPA over factory like work conditions. However the last few weeks have been rather silent. So you'd think these companies would want it to stay that way. However the Director of Chainsaw Man "中山竜/Ryu Nakayama" made a public statement on Social Media that things are improving in the working environment. At the very least it seems the Director really cares about his team working on the project.
Director's Official Statement: 既に以前よりは改善の兆しあるけど今以上に特に新人が安心して働ける環境作りたいよなー 業界全体というわけにはいかないけどせめて自分の手が届く範囲はな…まだその範囲も小さいけど… とりあえずまずそこから頑張るぞ〜〜〜
