Studio MAPPA Releases Animator Contract To Improve Worker Conditions - Chainsaw Man Director
1,866Earlier yesterday Ryu Nakayama the Director of Chainsaw Man made a public statement on Social Media yesterday about a Ryu x MAPPA Animator Contract in the works. What this Animator Contract details is that better work conditions, pay rates, holiday pay, and time off. They are using Chainsaw Man's Anime to get new employees, but the want to extend this contract beyond Chainsaw Man once the anime is finished and comes to an end. Overall MAPPA and the Director are being extremely transparent about everything recently and I'm happy for this change. Things are looking up for the Anime / Manga Industry. This might spark major changes in the future.
