168It's finally time to start smashing heads & ripping off arms because the classic VR gladiator simulator has finally made it's way to the Oculus Quest & Oculus Quest 2, that's right everyone GORN VR is here and this is a first impressions video filled with Gorn Quest 2 gameplay / Gorn Oculus Quest 2 gameplay. By now I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of Gorn, this hilarious VR combat game where you rip and tear opponents to pieces with whatever you can get your hands on has been released on almost every VR platform available...except for the Quest. I'm shocked it's taken so long for Gorn on the Oculus Quest to become a reality but it's here now so buckle up and make sure you've got plenty of space for what is now one of the best Quest 2 fighting games / Quest 2 sword fighting games.
Gorn Oculus Quest 2 gameplay / Gorn Quest 2 gameplay feels almost identical to the full PCVR or PSVR experience, the controls are responsive, the visuals are crisp and the gore is glorious. Arenas remain stained with the blood of your opponents and swinging your sword with enough might to remove an enemies arm or leg feels extremely satisfying in full wireless VR thanks to the native Quest 2 headset capabilities. Gorn VR gameplay is exceptionally violent (and bloody) but the same does ship with a low violence option for those who find the gore a little too much, Gorn on Oculus Quest also comes with a full suite of movement options, from the classic arm swinging mechanics to full locomotion & smooth turning!
All in all this GORN Quest 2 / GORN Oculus Quest version feels long overdue but it's ultimately been worth the wait, wireless GORN is hilarious, gory & a great way to relieve stress after a long day at work.
