Gothic 3 is a classic example of a game ruined by the publishers greed. Initially a very ambitious game, it was released too early at the behest of the publisher, despite the developer's objections.

Despite that, the game can be enjoyed with the community patch installed. Gothic 3, I believe, is a game that was meant to be as good as the Witcher 3 is. Unfortunately, due to the rushed release it never came close to realizing it's potential.
