Grand Theft Auto V Part 98: The Divide
So, after the biggest heist we have ever pulled off, we all then go to Michael’s house to celebrate by yelling at each other and then parting ways. First, let’s talk about the heist a little more; Even thought I enjoyed playing the final heist, there was something missing from it. It sorts of felt like most heist and there wasn’t that feeling of “Oh snap, this is the hardest place to get into a steal from, can you feel the tension”, instead it just felt like all the other heists. On top of that, even after pulling off these incredible feet, everyone starts to yell at each other for very little reason other than to introduce the last mission of the game. I understand that their friendship has always been shaky to say the least but it still feels out of place to have them fight with each other. I can rationalize Trevor yelling at Michael since he has a grudge against him (that whole “killing Brad, faking my death and running away” grudge thing) but even Franklin and Lester start fighting over some stupid points (Franklin gets angry when Lester mocks the West Coast but, this entire time, Franklin has been trying to leave his home in the Ghetto to go somewhere else which makes me wonder why he is getting angry over someone mocking the West Coast). It’s small things like that that bother me with their friendships; one moment, it all seems to be going well and then the next, there all arguing with each other over literally nothing. Sometimes it does feel like they only argue for the sake of the plot and other times it seems like a rational moment/topic to fight about.
