Another Grandia game, another hard type hack to attempt going through. The latest update (PC version only) can be picked up here:

Boss refight time. No more Roan & Tio, but Millenia has joined in the fun here. So long as she's setup to do lots of magic damage, she'll be just fine.

As for the bosses, they haven't seen too many radical changes besides a boost in power.

Valmar's Tongue and its usual attacks all hit for ~1300-1500 damage or so, but Eat 'em Alive can hit near 3000 damage so you want to keep HPs topped off just in case that gets used. Otherwise, focus fire the main body down to end this fight.

Valmar's Eye is actually the easiest refight surprisingly enough. The Eyeball Bats are meant to be more annoying than threatening here (normal attack hitting 350-450 damage, Delta Burst 900-1000 damage) while the attacks from the main boss itself aren't quite as powerful as the Tongue's, reaching a peak of maybe 1200 damage, if that. Just cancel out Spellbinding Eye if that gets charged up and you'll be fine.

Valmar's Heart can actually be a bit of a threat. The main body's normal attack hits for 2500+ damage to those in its path. Thankfully, it doesn't give the main body back HP for each one it hits like in the first battle with it. Aorta Pummel hits for ~3000 damage and can lower all attributes by 1 level while Avici Slash...well I never let the critter get that off so heh.

As for the eyes, ignore them and focus on the boss. You will need to keep your defenses buffed as Def-Loss from the Red Eye gets spammed often.

Another thing to note...the main body seems to be immune to fire and lightning magic. If you're like me and your Millenia's only abusable elements thanks to equipped skills were those two, then you'll need to find another way for her to do damage. Grudging Claws isn't a bad choice and neither is Heel Crush. The latter has the bonus of lowering attack, defense, and speed by 1 level each.

With all the refights done and final equipment choices made, only the lovely so called "Valmar" priest dude is left and the game is finished.
