Grandmaster Laxman analyzes his loss against a 1938 rated player
GM R.R. Laxman plays a lot of open tournaments in India. He might well have the most number of rated games played by an Indian GM in India in a calendar year. Laxman speaks about how the overall level of chess has grown in India during the pandemic and how it is becoming increasingly difficult for GMs to score wins against lower rated players. Laxman speaks on this subject and also analyzed his loss against a 1938 rated opponent Chamil Priyankara. It's an interview in which Laxman speaks honestly and it gives us great insights into a psyche of a GM.
