Elitserien games are official add-ons or reworking from Electronic Arts' NHL games, localized for the Swedish market by content.
Elitserien 95 is almost a direct conversion of NHL Hockey 95 but with all new graphics and stadiums made to represent the Swedish Elitserien hockey league. The entire game is translated into Swedish and features players and teams from the 1995 season.
Elitserien 96 is almost a direct conversion of NHL 96 but with all new graphics and stadiums made to represent the Swedish Elitserien hockey league. The entire game is translated into Swedish and features players and contains teams from the 1996 season.
Elitserien 2001 is an add-on for NHL 2001. Gameplay is the same as the original but it adds 12 Swedish and 13 Finnish teams to the game. Stadiums, jerseys and player names have all been changed and each player has their own stats just like in the NHL games. The games are introduced by famous Swedish TV Sports commentator Arne Hegerfors, while the actual games are commentated by the Americans from the NHL.
