--BLURB--

Board up those windows and find a safe room if you can, because today we're taking on the T-virus with nothing but our trusty Green Herb for backup.

The recent rerelease of Resident Evil 2 really sucked us back into the franchise. It's actually astounding to look back on the original to remind ourselves that, yes, these pixels and giant, blocky polygons used to be legitimately scary. Now, thanks to its recent facelift, a whole new generation can enjoy RE2 as well which is honestly a great thing. Yes remakes are getting a bit out of control (looking at you Hollywood), but when it comes to video games, an HD remaster can do a lot of good - helping keep video game classics alive (but, like, proper alive, not like zombies).

When it came to transforming this famous franchise into a video game cocktail, Jack's mind was instantly drawn to probably the most important item in the game (if you suck at it like we do) - the Green Herb. Munch on this unassuming potted plant and you can finally unclench your anus just that little bit, knowing that it'll take at least more than one zombie slap to take you down.

Now, maybe our version of the Green Herb won't quite knit your wounds back together, but maybe it'll help you power through. Let's get started!

INGREDIENTS

6-8 mint leaves
3-4 slices cucumber
2 oz gin
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz apple liqueur

*Note: Yes the drink turns out more like a Yellow Herb in the episode 😅 This is caused by a combo of our lights and camera settings, but rest assured it's definitely a nice pale green in real life. If you want an even greener drink, use less lime juice (but prepare for a sweet beverage as a result).

Watch the video to see how it's made!
