With a brand new Vampire: The Masquerade game coming out soon, Jack has taken it upon himself to delve into the shadowy world of the Kindred with a decadent blood-red cocktail - Vitae.

Across all the different Vampire: The Masquerade titles, from video games to various card game and TV show spin-offs (as well, of course, as the original RPG), there's one underlying theme: The curse, the need, for blood. And that's what we're going to show you how to make today, except under the Kindred's preferred name of Vitae.

This is a very sweet drink. A guilty pleasure, if you like. It has a gorgeous fruit-forward sweetness from the plum simple syrup, with some spice and savoury notes from the two bitters to balance it back out.

Just make sure no humans see you gobbling it down - lest you have to gobble them, too.

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Stolen-brand gold rum
0.5 oz Plum simple syrup (learn how to make that using Jack's complete guide to simple syrups here https://experience-bar.com/the-complete-guide-to-simple-syrups/)
2 dash Angostura bitters
2 dash Peychaud's bitters
