Today we're all about a game Jack describes as his personal favourite "Space Hitler Simulator" (perhaps saying more about Jack's play style than the game itself): Stellaris.
Now, one of the things that makes Stellaris such a great strategy game is that it has a mechanic to prevent typical end-game steamrolling common to big titles like this, where the player is just unstoppable by the end of the match. Just when you think your empire is the bee's knees, Stellaris throws a crisis at you to chop those little fuzzy legs right off.
This cocktail is inspired by said crises, in particular the Unbidden - those Extradimensional Invaders who wish only to consume all life, and perhaps, this delicious drink. Our recipe today is fresh and zingy, a new take on the classic Singapore Sling that you can enjoy whether you're putting all your energy into uniting the galaxy in a single, peaceful rule, or going Jack's route instead (i.e. the exact opposite...).
INGREDIENTS
1 oz gin
0.75 oz blue curacao
0.5 oz Maraschino liqueur
0.5 oz lime juice
Dash Angostura bitters
