Greninja BREAK - Pokémon TCG Live Online Matches #28
10Let's check out another BREAKpoint BREAK Evolution in this week's Pokémon TCG Live Online match. Today's focus is Greninja BREAK, with the Giant Water Shuriken Ability that (once per turn) allows you to discard a Water Energy from hand to place 6 damage counters on any opposing Pokémon, as long as Greninja BREAK is your Active Pokémon. Combining that with the XY base set Greninja's standard Water Shuriken Ability (similar to the Giant Water Shuriken, the differences being that Water Shuriken places only 3 damage counters, but can be used from the Bench as well), we have a Pokémon that can dish out 90 total damage per turn - BEFORE launching an attack. We're going to pair this water ninja with BREAKpoint's Aegislash, using the Painful Sword attack to double the number of damage counters on each opposing Pokémon. In a single turn, this combo has the potential to dish out 180 damage to a single target, enough to knock out most Pokémon-EX immediately! How will our blade-wielding warriors fare on the field of battle?
