This is a random video of me killing Rashalga. She is one of the easier super bosses for ranged characters but can be a complete nightmare for melee builds...
The video is not meant as an achievement considering my gear nor a strategy although it is certainly one way to kill her. You can circle around her nest shooting at her when possible and hopefully out-damaging her naturally high regeneration. Going up close and personal requires a lot more preparation and can still be a big problem. Every time she utters two harrowing screams in a row, she puts on a pink aura that not only enhances her health recovery but gives her life leeching attacks. THIS is the main reason why melee characters have such a hard time. Even then, if you are not careful then she will quickly undo most of your work so it is best to run around for a short while when she screams twice.

I got completely crap loot. No loot that is. She can otherwise drop a unique weapon, Mad Queen's Claw, among other usual Epic or Legendary stuff.

There is not lore behind her. Probably the previous dermapteran (giant nasty insects) queen that was exiled far up north by her own species for being especially aggressive.
Interestingly enough it does not seem there is any way for her to lay eggs anymore.

It is heavily based on AKDONG's Purifier build which is commonly recommended. This one has focus on Fire and Lighting damage.
