GROUNDHOG DAY | Let's Play Apex Legends: 3-Man Part 14
1Having yet to win an Apex Championship as a team is beginning to make us feel like we're in a virtual groundhog day.
Apex Legends is Respawn's take on the Battle Royale formula. Set in the Titanfall universe, the game pits 20 three-man teams against each other on a map called King's Canyon. Much like other battle royale games, players must scour the map and pick up weapons, upgrades, armour, and ammo. There is also a closing ring mechanic which reduces the playable area until all combatants are near each other. Unlike other battle royale games, Apex Legends has players choosing from a pool of Legends, each with their own unique abilities ranging from calling in carpet bombings to granting them vision of the enemy.
