11Here's a quick tire compound comparison between the Racing Soft tires on lap 1
The Sports Soft tires on lap 2
And the Comfort Soft tires on lap 3
This should show the differences between the grades of tires on Gran Turismo 6, and they are hugely varied. Racing softs, on my RX-8, you basically brake as late as you want, and accelerate out of the corners whenever you want, without any loss of traction throughout the turn. But you can still have fun if you really push them.
Sports soft tires are difficult to describe, they're what you expect the racing tires to be like, when you first start driving on them, when you're a bit tentative and brake earlier than you should. They're responsive but show their limits, if you understand what I'm saying.
Comfort soft tires are drift tires. They're basically useless for racing on, so I recommend that you don't even try. Drifting is more fun than trying to get grip from this compound of tire. Just don't bother. Go drifting instead.
